RACEHORSE trainer Norman Mason was back in the saddle at his entertainment business last night after it emerged from administration.
The Grand National-winning trainer regained control of his amusement arcades and pubs when an administration order was lifted by a court yesterday.
The Mason Organisation - which employs 400 people - had reached an agreement to pay creditors in full and was handed back to the original management team - a move that administrator Ted Fergusson described as uncommon.
A statement from the Mason Organisation said: "We wish to thank our staff for their hard work during the administration, our customers for their continued loyalty and our suppliers for their support.
"The Mason Organisation looks forward to continuing to build on the remaining successful core business."
Parts of the business, including eight bingo halls and a number of amusement arcades, were sold to Top Ten Bingo last year in a £6m deal.
Mr Mason was the owner and trainer of Red Marauder, which won the Grand National in 2001.
