The season was brought to a close with the final of the Archbold Memorial Trophy on the RA Ground on Tuesday evening last week.
There was an excellent encounter between Tindale WMC and Darlington The Mowden who were in their second league final in a week. The Trophy was won by Tindale 3-0 to give them a great first season with the league.
There was very little between the sides in the first 45 minutes until they went into stoppage time when Billy Latcham struck from the edge of the box. The game swung Tindale's way after five minutes of the second half with two goals in four minutes through Andrew Fairley and a second for Latcham, Mowden were unlucky on a couple of occasions not to get on the score sheet, late in the game both sides had efforts cancelled out for offside.
The League Chairman Bob Blair presented the Trophy and momentoes to the teams.
