A Redcar club has reopened following a refurbishment made possible with the award of a £67,000 grant.
The 9-0 Club has a function room with seating for 40 people, a modern kitchen area, improved access for disabled users and new labatories.
George Robinson, chairman of the West Redcar Single Regeneration Budget Priority Group, which allocated the funds, said: "This is one of our single biggest projects and a great example of how we help groups within the West Redcar area."
Club treasurer Linda Metcalfe, who has been using the facility for 33 years, said: "The old club was a bit of an eyesore, now you can see a heck of a difference and I'm sure more people will want to hire it."
The building can be hired from between £5 an hour and £15 an hour.
For details, call Ms Metcalfe on (01642) 488317.
