NEWHAM Grange Leisure Farm staff have returned triumphant from the Carlisle Rare Breeds Show.
Two of their beef shorthorn heifers were placed first and second in their class.
Both heifers were then bought by breeders at the show which covers the Northern region.
Farm manager Tracy Fairbridge said: "This is the first time we've taken cattle to this show so we're absolutely delighted with the results.
"It's all credit to our staff who have worked really hard to get the animals to this standard. We are now planning to take two half-sisters of our prize winning heifers to the Great Yorkshire Show in July ."
