A TYPING pool is celebrating after a National Lottery win.
The syndicate of typists, who work for the Inland Revenue in Newcastle, won £117,234 after they matched five numbers and the bonus ball in Wednesday's draw.
Syndicate leader Susan Mardghum, 43, from Kingston Park, Newcastle, placed the winning numbers in her lunch hour.
She and her fellow syndicate members, Lesley Mowbray, from Gateshead, Karen Frizzell, from Whickham, Lynda Barry, from Wallsend, and Christine Glynn, from Wylam, Northumberland, are planning to treat themselves to exotic holidays.
