Last night, millions of fans tuned into Channel 4 to see the final episode of US comedy Friends. Among them was dedicated follower Hayley Gyllenspetz, who has watched all 234 episodes over the past decade.
It's lasted longer than any of my relationships, made me laugh, made me cry and now has left a huge hole in my Friday night.
Last night, ten years of Friends came to an end with an hour-long special.
Despite the hype, the final goodbye was fantastic with the perfect mix of laughter, tears and suspense.
You could almost hear the nation cheer when Rach got off the Paris plane and ran back into Ross's arms and I am sure there wasn't a dry eye in the house when the Bings babies arrived.
Friends has captured all our hearts and has booked its place in the comedy hall of fame.
Who cares that baby Emma was left on her own for days, the guys were never at work but lived in the best apartments and that no-one ever finished a coffee in Central Perk?
Friends gave us a glimpse of how we would all like to live - dealing with love, life and laughter but without the daily grind.
What other TV show has spawned its own haircut, kitchen range and fool-proof chat up line (how YOU doing?)
Ten years is a long time to know six people and half-an-hour a week (plus endless repeats) means I know more about the Friends clan than I do about some of my own mates.
As the six left their chic apartment arm in arm last night a small part of me felt I really was losing a friend .... now roll on Big Brother!
