Pupils have built a huge rocket as part of a Creative Arts Week to celebrate the school's 50th anniversary next month.
Last year, Harry Dack Infant School, in Loftus, earned the Leading Aspect award, during its Creative Arts Week, along with eight other Redcar and Cleveland primary schools.
Headteacher Christine Buckley said there would be a series of arts projects for the anniversary celebrations on June 22.
The Leading Aspect awards are given for a specific area of best or good practice and the nine schools will be featured in a national good practice guide as well as being invited to a celebration at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre on Tuesday, July 6.
The other schools are Coatham CoE Primary and Kirkleatham Hall in Redcar, Park Lane Infant and St Paulinus RC Primary in Guisborough, St Peter's CoE Primary at Brotton, Cromwell Road Primary in South Bank, Errington Primary in Marske and JE Batty Primary in Redcar.
