MOTORBIKERS and cyclists from around the UK will converge on the North-East next month.
The fifth annual Ridewell event will take place on Sunday, July 18, at Preston Hall and Museum, Yarm Road, Stockton, from 10am.
The event, organised by Cleveland Police and Stockton Borough Council, in association with Just Harleys, of Newcastle, is a road safety day with the emphasis on enjoyment.
Along with road safety exhibits, there will be traders and dealers from the motorcycle and pedal cycle world in attendance, together with a display from international stunt ace Sonnie Ferguson.
Since 2000, Guisborough Motor Club has been hosting the Ridewell Trials Competition and riders from all over the North-East and beyond compete for prizes.
There will be motorcycle competitions with prizes donated by local dealers and a cycle competition for younger people, with prizes including mountain bikes.
There will also be fairground rides, simulators and food courts.
Novices will have the opportunity to learn to ride with tuition by instructors from the Cleveland Motorcycle Training Scheme.
