A TEAM of dancers from the North-East is heading to London to perform at the Royal Albert Hall this weekend.
The youngsters who are part of the Youth Moves group for four to 16-year-olds all come from Darlington and Bishop Auckland, County Durham.
They will be performing at the event on Saturday alongside adult members of the Keep Fit Association from all over the country.
Their teacher, Sarah Singleton, explained that the youngsters have been rehearsing for the event since January.
She said: "I am very proud of the team. The girls have worked really hard to get to the high standard that is required to perform at the Royal Albert Hall.
"They will make me and all their families very proud and will be in London to fly the flag and represent Darlington and the North-East."
The event is the Keep Fit Association's national display, held every other year. The organisation aims to promote healthier lifestyles through movement, exercise and dance.
