A JAZZ musician who played with members of the Rat Pack will give a concert this month.
Jeff Tower, who worked with Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr, will return with his band to visit long-time friend Garry Firth, the head of music at Northallerton College, North Yorkshire.
Mr Tower will bring with him 35 members of his jazz band from Hemet High School, in California, where he has taught for 18 years.
Mr Firth said: "It is a reciprocal visit for one that Northallerton College's Concert Band made to Hemet just seven weeks ago during their tour of California."
Mr Tower first visited Northallerton two years ago when he came to coach two of the college's jazz bands.
He has played lead trombone in several bands and worked with many big names.
The Hemet High School Band will play at 7pm on Friday, June 18. Tickets are £3 for adults, and £2 for children.
