RESIDENTS are being urged to have their say on nursing services in north Durham.
Derwentside Primary Care Trust (PCT) will hold an open meeting next Wednesday, to look at how community nursing can be developed.
Helen Tucker, the trust's head nurse, said: "We realise that community nursing services need to change in line with the modernisation of the NHS, so that we can provide high quality services that meet the needs of local people.
"We would like to find out how we can develop nursing services to better meet the needs of those who might need to use them, which is why we are inviting local people to this important event."
The meeting will take place in Consett Civic Centre, Medomsley Road, Consett, on Wednesday, from 10am to 2pm. Lunch will be provided.
Anyone interested in attending can contact Wendy Marley or Sarah Berry at the PCT, on (01207) 594577.
