AFTER entertaining local people from the stage, a theatre group took centre stage again - to present the proceeds to local good causes.
Ripon Charity Pantomime Group handed over the proceeds from their production of Cinderella during a ceremony in the Skaters Drop-In Centre, at Holy Trinity Church.
They presented cheques totalling £2,000 to a variety of local organisations: Ripon Community Link, the Gateway Club, the St John Ambulance Junior section, Boroughbridge Primary School Nursery, Ripon CVS Community House Committee and the Skaters Drop-In Centre.
Work is already under way on next year's production of Babes in the Wood. Auditions are to be held on June 13 and 14 at Ripon Motor Sports Clubhouse, in Blossomgate.
