Darlington travelled to last year's North Yorkshire Under 11 league champions, Norton on Saturday and claimed a great victory by 93 runs.
Norton batted first and faced a strong Darlington bowling attack who put in their best all round bowling performance of the season so far.
James Mitchinson found an extra two yards of pace and caused problems for the home batsmen from the start. Andy Peacock was as accurate as ever and Adam Baldwin's away swing bowling was almost unplayable.
When Stan Clitheroe entered the fray with his seamers he shook the Norton batsmen with three wickets in his second over taking a brilliant three for ten.
Michael Colling's pace for the final overs made sure there was no let up for Norton who lost seven wickets in their score of 253 giving them a net total of 197.
In reply every Darlington batsmen scored useful runs in their four over pairs. Baldwin and Peacock got the Quakers off to a useful start with 16 runs off the bat and Hardy and Mitchinson upped the pace as the second pair, putting on a further 25 useful runs without loss.
The usually reliable third partnership of Vickerman and Clitheroe looked slightly off colour as they lost three wickets in adding 26 to the score. The three wickets gave Norton some hope as Dobson and Peacock came to the wicket for the visitors final pairing.
Peacock was the dominant partner showing his captain and regular batting partner, Dobson that he could also drive fours through the covers. Peacock hit a beautiful 18 not out, his best score to date for Darlington as the final pair added another 26 runs off the bat.
The Quakers ended on 314 for 3 a net score of 290 and extended their league unbeaten run to six wins out of six.
Andrew Peacock, known affectionately as Zeus by his team mates, was deservedly Man of the Match with Jack "Digger" Vickerman picking up his third fielding award of the season.
