EIGHT youngsters from Stockton schools enjoyed star treatment as a reward for achieving 100pc attendance at school.
They were picked up by a stretch limo at Oxbridge Primary School on Thursday of last week and driven home in style.
The reward for achieving perfect attendance records was made by Stockton Council's Stars initiative (Schools Tackling Absence and Rewarding Success).
The pupils - Aaron Casey, Samantha Johnson, Matthew Jamieson, James Thomas, Arfan Hanif, Michael Robinson, Stevie Stead and Richard Easter - also received goody bags.
Helen Surtees, attendance project worker for the council, said: "Stars is all about raising awareness and encouraging children about the importance of attending school.
"The children love being picked up in a stretch limo and this is a well-deserved reward for youngsters who have achieved 100 per cent attendance."
