PEOPLE wanting to take part in an annual festival of walking and cycling are being urged to submit their entries.
The third annual Guisborough Festival of Walking and Cycling on Saturday and Sunday, June 19 and 20, has more walks and rides on offer than previous years.
Booking is essential for all the activities and entries must be submitted by Monday, June 14.
Entry costs £3 for adults and £2 for children under 16.
The event is being organised by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's countryside team and backed by sponsorship from Guisborough Market Town Initiative, High Plain Drifters, which supplies walking and skiing holidays, and Cleveland Potash.

Saturday, June 19
Guided walks
A Nunthorpe to Newton Amble: Six miles, 10.30am-3pm. Organised by Lingfield Countryside Centre. Moderate with a couple of steep climbs to the bottom of Roseberry Topping, finishing at pub in Newton-under-Roseberry. Bus back provided.
Highcliffe Hike: Twelve miles, 10am-5pm. Women Out Walking Group walk from Guisborough through to Saltburn. Moderate with a few steep climbs. Bus back provided.
Cook's Coast and Country Walk, with the High Plains Drifters: An 8-mile, Circular walk from Staithes, moderate with a few steep climbs. 10am-4pm.
Langbaurgh Loop/Part 1: 25 miles, 8.30am-6pm. Long distance circular walk from Saltburn, strenuous with steep climbs.
Guided bike rides
East Cleveland Circular, with Sustrans: Ten miles, 11am-2pm, few steep climbs, suitable for moderately fit adults and children over 12.
Castleton Circular, with countryside wardens: Twenty-four miles, 9.30am-3pm.
Sunday, June 20
Guided walks
Two Valleys Wander, with Tees Valley Wildlife Trust: Eight miles, 10am-3pm.
Tocketts Trek, with countryside wardens: 9.5 miles, 10am-4pm.
Langbaurgh Loop/Part 2: 21 miles, 8.30am-5pm, complete the Loop with a linear walk, strenuous with a few steep climbs.
Guided bike rides
Baysdale Circular, with countryside wardens: A 27-mile, 9.30am-3.30am.
