Crook Queen's Head A lost their top spot in the First Division when they went down by the odd point at Crook Olde Horse Shoe.
The Shoe had singles points from Jimmy Luke, Don Dixon, Ian Armstrong and Nigel Scott, whilst the Queen's had wins from John Howarth and Neil Harker to add to the doubles point from Peter Genner and Dog Smailes.
Crook Coach and Horses B took advantage of the Queen's defeat to move a point clear of the Olde Horse Shoe, Travellers Rest B, Belle Vue Club and the Queen's Head A at the top of the First Division.
Crook Jelly's Bar B moved two points clear at the top of the Second Division after they won the deciding doubles at Crook Spitfire Club. Harry Tait, Ronnie Rinaldi and Rebecca Newton took singles for the home side but Lee Genner, Michael Harker and Mark Smith levelled. In the deciding doubles Jelly's went to victory when Michael Harker and brother, Wayne beat Eddie Phillipson and Ronnie Rinaldi, the reigning pairs champions.
This victory took Jelly's B two points clear of Crook White Swan B, who are one ahead of the Spitfire Club and Willington Brewer's Droop.
