CREATIVE children learnt how to make decorated jungle vines this week as part of activities organised for half-term at Kirkleatham Museum, near Redcar.
The event was organised by the family learning section of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's Adult Education Service and the museum.
Outreach education development officer Liz Vine, who helped organise the event, said: "We had a very successful day with some lovely creations made with all sorts of creatures on them.
"There were about 60 people altogether, including the adults."
Yesterday there were drop-in sessions to listen to Sif the Viking storyteller at Margrove Heritage Centre, at Charltons, near Guisborough, which is currently showing a Vikings exhibition.
