ANYONE who has ever wondered what it is like to ride a quad-bike or work a mechanical digger is being offered a chance to take part in a charity challenge.
The Macmillan Cancer Relief County Durham Appeal is looking for teams of eight to join its Off-Road Day.
The event, at the Weardale Off-Road Centre, near Wolsingham, County Durham, will include a minimum of six challenges chosen from a range of options.
This could include quad-biking, learning how to work a mechanical digger, driving a 4X4 or off-road buggy, clay pigeon shooting, and archery.
Macmillan wants to raise more cash towards its £750,000 County Durham appeal, which has already raised £600,000 towards improving facilities for terminally ill cancer patients and their families.
Caroline Peacock, joint manager of the appeal, said the cost of entering events on June 30 was being heavily discounted by the owners.
Prices, which include refreshments all the day, are £600 for a team of four or £1,200 for a team of eight.
To apply, call Macmillan Cancer Relief on 0191-378 1188.
