SKETCHES illustrating stories of a famous Army regiment have gone on tour.
Drawings accompanying North-East author Terry Deary's latest publication, Dirty Little Imps, were produced by Dennis Hardingham, the exhibitions officer at Durham's DLI Museum and Durham Art Gallery.
The book features 20 tales of soldiers serving with the Durham Light Infantry during its 200-year history, each given Mr Deary's quirky treatment.
Mr Hardingham's pictures, his first to be published, were initially displayed at the DLI Museum.
They have now gone on show at Newton Hall Library, on the outskirts of Durham, where they can be viewed until Thursday, June 24.
Published by County Durham Books, the publishing arm of Durham County Council, Dirty Little Imps, a nickname of the DLI, is available from the museum or local bookstores, priced £3.50.
