FORMER students of a college campus poised for closure are invited to a reunion next month.
The end of the academic year marks the demise for New College Durham's Nevilles Cross site, on which a mix of housing and offices are already being developed.
All departments based at Nevilles Cross are being transferred to the college's main site, at Framwellgate Moor, which is undergoing a multi-million pound redevelopment.
But recent former students at Nevilles Cross can reminisce about their time at the campus at the get-together, at Durham University's Collingwood College, on Saturday, July 3, from 7pm.
Organiser Michael Woolley, president of the Students' Union, said photographs of former students and memorabilia from the site will be on show at the reunion.
Nevilles Cross, a former teacher-training site, was home to students on New College's higher education, university-style courses.
Mr Woolley said: "Some of them may not even know that the site is about to close.
"But, maybe through word-of-mouth, we hope as many as possible get to know about the reunion and can make it."
To take part, go to www. neevents.co.uk or call Mr Woolley on 0191-375 4548.
