MORE than 700 people attended a fun day to support Multiple Sclerosis (MS) sufferers and their carers.
On Saturday, Darlington MS Society raised more than £1,600 at its fund day at Elm Ridge Methodist Church.
Lisa Oates, from the society, said that as well as a variety of stalls, there was also a miniature steam train, bouncy castle and face painting.
The Rachael Coad School of Dance, gave a demonstration as did the Sukona School of Karate and Darlington Spraire Lasses football team.
Ms Oates said: "It was a really fantasic day.
"The money will make a big difference and go a long way to helping people who have MS or care for someone with MS in this area."
