A WOMAN died of adult sudden death syndrome, an inquest heard yesterday.
Frances Lillian O'Leary was found at the bottom of the stairs at her home in Walker Street Shildon, County Durham, in June last year.
The 61-year-old was found by removal men as she and partner Christopher Greenfield were moving home.
It was thought she died from a cardiac problem, but pathologist Dr Clive Bloxham said he could find no evidence to support that.
He told South Durham Deputy Coroner Kenneth Howe there was no evidence of suspicious circumstances but there was a history of sudden death in her family.
Mr Howe recorded a verdict of death by natural causes.
