TICKETS to allow people the chance to go on the replica of Captain Cook's ship HM Bark Endeavour at a festival next month have gone on sale.
The Endeavour will be an attraction at the two-day Hartlepool Maritime Festival, on Saturday and Sunday, July 3 and 4.
It will open the festival when it stages a mock battle off the Hartlepool coast with a Russian replica of Tsar Peter the Great's frigate Shtandart.
On the Sunday, the Endeavour will be berthed in Hartlepool's Victoria Dock and will be open for 30-minute guided tours between 9am and 4.30pm.
Entry will be by timed tickets, which must be bought in advance from the Tourist Information Centre, inside Hartlepool Art Gallery, in Church Square.
Prices are £18 for a family ticket (up to three children), £7 for adults, £5 for pensioners and £4 for children aged three to 16.
For more details, call the information centre on (01429) 869706.
