STAFF at an award-winning theatre are appealing for volunteers to come forward.
The Georgian Theatre Royal, in Richmond, is run mainly by volunteers and since its re-launch in September last year, it has taken on a year-round theatre programme at the same time as continuing its daily tours and running the box office and gift shop.
This has meant an increasing demand for volunteers, however many hours a week they are able to give.
Volunteer posts are available in all areas of the theatre, which dates back to 1788 and is the most complete Georgian playhouse in Britain.
Training is given for all positions, including front of house, box office, shop and technical staff and tour guides.
For information about becoming a volunteer, contact Jayne Duncan, or marketing and press officer, Laura Hannaway, on (01748) 823710.
