A HOSPICE is preparing to stage its annual vintage and classic vehicle fete in Sedgefield village.
The event, organised by the Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland, will be held on Tuesday, June 22.
People are invited to exhibit vehicles around the entire perimeter of the village green from 5.30pm.
Last year saw a record entry, with classic and vintage favourites such as the Ford Model T, a Rolls Royce, tractors, Army vehicles, trucks and motorbikes.
The village green will be a hive of activity, with craft and plant stalls, tombola, face painters, refreshments and fairground rides.
All exhibitors, who are asked to park their vehicles no later than 7pm, will be awarded a commemorative pin and certificate.
This year's event has a trophy from Bob Longstaff of Crook, who lost his wife to cancer earlier this year.
Mr Longstaff has awarded a memorial trophy as a tribute to his wife, Florence, who had a keen interest in all types of classic and historic vehicles.
