SIXTY fun-loving youngsters are coming back down to earth after nearly a week of adventures above and below the ground.
The year nine pupils from Bedale High School and Ripon College spent five days at Bewerley Park outdoor education centre, near Pateley Bridge, in Nidderdale.
They spent their time caving, climbing, orienteering, sailing, canoeing and abseiling, as well as swinging about on a Jungle Jim assault course.
Organiser Martyn Coombs said: "Residential weeks like this are incredible experiences for all pupils.
"They experience such challenging situations which they might never have the opportunity of experiencing ever again in their lives.
"Even after such a short space of time, pupils learn a lot more about themselves and also about how important sleep is. These pupils were absolutely shattered by the end of the week."
