Cleveland and North Yokshire League: In week six there was a clean sweep for the home teams. The league leaders Oak Lodge had the biggest victory of the evening by 181 to 153.
The team captain of Oak Lodge, Ron Calvert, led from the front with the only perfect 25 out of 25 of the night in the whole league.
Thimbleby moved up to second place with a 15 bird victory, 175-160 over Spennymoor. An excellent score of 24 for W Herdman won him an evening trophy.
Stokesley stayed in third place with a narrow 186 to 180 point victory over Urlay Nook. There were four near perfect scores of 24 by Adam Wallace, T Woodhouse, Albert Pearson and John Hutchinson.
Fox Hall scored their first win of the season wth a 183 to 169 win over Marne CC. Marne shots Benny Owens, Tony Masters and Roy Doidge all scored 24 for Marne, although seven members of Fox Hall scored 23's to ensure their win.
