PEOPLE affected by adoption are being invited to discover more about their family history at a drop-in session that has started in Darlington.
The DFW Adoption group meets at Pease House, Horsemarket, on the last Wednesday of every month, from 1pm to 4pm, to offer advice to anybody seeking information about lost relatives.
Catriona Morris, adoption mediation co-ordinator at DFW Adoption, said: "Although we can't promise happy endings, we're here to make it as easy as possible for people touched by adoption to access the services they need.
"Taking the first step towards tracing a lost relative or simply finding out more about your background requires courage."
