Reigning champions, Leeholme lost their top spot in the First Division when they went down by two points at Coxhoe, allowing Wingate to take over the pole position. Coxhoe won by 74 shots to 68.

Brandon made their first victory of the season to lift themselves from the bottom place in the table when they beat the visiting Spennymoor for the loss of only one point, whilst Durham City kept up the pressure on the leaders with a good away win over Mainsforth.

Close games were won by J. Braithwaite (2 shots) and H. Horner (1 shots). But the win by M. Branthwaite (8 shots) ensured the long game for Barnard Castle resulting in a 2-2 draw. With a fine win at North Park, Hundens take second place on shots difference and a 3-1 win over the Dene, Railway Athletic remain in contention.
In The B Division, Woodland B stretched their lead over South Park A who were on their bye week.
