Loftus are champions of division one after securing their 15th victory in 17 outings and with just one game to play they are 68 points ahead of Dormans.
The latest victory came at Brotton where they had no fewer than 226 runs in hand after dismissing the home side for 35. Whitwell claimed six wickets for just 21 runs and Morrison took three for 13.
Batting first Loftus made 251 as the runs flowed from Sanderson with 25, Midgley 35, Dixon 37, Barritt 59 and Morrison 44.
Broughton took three wickets for 59 runs, Smith three for 79 and Yeoman two for 53 but it was Loftus who celebrated at the end.
Dormans are second and they had six wickets in hand visiting Norton. Batting first Norton were restricted to 105 for eight which included 25 by Pritchard and 20 by Brookes. Hadfield was in good form with ball for Dormans taking five wickets for 66 runs and Dale gave support with three for 29.
Replying the visitors were indebted to opener Patton for his contribution of 37 and Iqbal added 22 to the match-winning total of 109 for four. Three of the four wickets were taken by Brookes for 57 runs.
Ormesby Hall total 226 for six before reducing Paragonians to 118 all out. Openers Wilkinson with 52 and Qayyum with 32 gave the Ormesby Hall innings the perfect start before Heaney added 48 and McCabe an unbeaten 31. Allison had two for 44 and Coulson two for 29 in the home attack. Replying Paragonians found the going difficult but 32 from Briscoe and 48 by Allison took the score into three figures even though Peacock captured five wickets for just 47 runs in the Ormesby Hall attack. He was supported by McCabe with two for 40 and Wilkinson with two for 13.
The Merlin were all out for 79 on their visit to Staithes for whom S Theaker claimed four of the wickets for 19 runs. Allen returned two for seven and earlier Staithes reached 204 for four before declaring. Allen was also in good form with the bat scoring 58 when he went in at number three, but it was Ward who dominated the innings carrying his bat for 100. Mee took two of the four wickets to go down for 50 runs.
Sivills cpatured seven wickets for 33 runs and Powell three for 30 when Normanby Parklands were sent back to the pavilion with just 70 runs on the board by Hinderwell who went on to win by seven wickets reaching 72 in quick time.
