A DISPLAY of Georgian-style costumes is at Richmond Town Hall. They have been created by students on a BA honours entertainment design crafts programme at the Hartlepool campus of Cleveland College of Art and Design.
The students had to incorporate a contemporary element into an 18th Century theme and came up with five set designs and costumes as exam pieces.
Richmond Town Council asked to borrow the work to link with the Georgian town and its theatre.
Richmond Mayor, Councillor Russell Lord, said: "The sets and costumes are magical. I would like to see the town hall used more as a venue for arts exhibitions, particularly as we have new facilities such as a lift for the disabled."
The items are displayed in the town hall's Georgian court area. The exhibition runs until Wednesday.
