A CONSERVATION charity is seeking volunteers to help build a stile and steps over the Wensleydale Railway.
The British Trust for Conservation Volunteers wants people to help with the project on June 23 and 24.
The work will take place at Akebar, near Newton le Willows, and volunteers are asked to wear work clothes, sturdy boots and to take a packed lunch. Transport will be leaving Kiplin Hall, near Scorton, at 9am, returning at 5pm.
For information about the project, contact Anne Purbrick, North Yorkshire project officer, or Richard Ballantyne, publicity and community initiatives volunteer officer, on (01748) 811970.
