A fundraising night will be held later this week to raise money for an extension to the Shopmobility scheme in Hartlepool.
The charity, based in the town's Middleton Grange Shopping Centre, provides wheelchairs and buggies to help people get around the town.
It is hoped a concert by The Elvis Collection Tribute Band will raise money for an extension, which will mean all equipment can be stored on site.
The scheme will also provide on-site water for cleaning and will improve accessibility from the car park for people who need to make use of the scooters.
The event will take place in the Borough Hall, on the Headland, on Thursday, at 7.30pm.
Retailers in the centre, including Kevin Turton, of Mariners' Fish and Chip Shop, are selling tickets for the event.
Mr Turton said: "When I heard about the fundraising concert I decided to get involved and help sell tickets to raise the money for Shopmobility's extension.
"It's a vital service for many people and I'm glad to help."
Tickets are priced at £12, and for a limited period, there is also a two-for-one offer.
They are available from Mariners, Shopmobility or by contacting (01429) 861777.
