WORKERS in Middlesbrough have been trying Portuguese cuisine in the build-up the European football championships.
Centre North East teamed up with Nando's, in Middlesbrough, to offer staff the chance to try traditional Portuguese food, including Peri-Peri Chicken and Prego Steak Rolls.
Nandos' mascot Barcie also attended the event to celebrate the start of Euro 2004.
Centre North East marketing manager Sara Williams said: "With over 1,200 people working in the building we thought it would be fun to bring some Portuguese culture to the football supporters who work here."
