FRANKENSTEIN and his bride were among 180 people who took part in a fancy dress bike ride.
The event, organised by the North Riding Dales Licensed Victuallers Association was held to raise cash for local charities.
The cyclistss set off from Leyburn along the A684 through Wensley, West Witton and Aysgarth, before crossing the river to Askrigg at Worton. They returned to the A684 at Bainbridge and the ride ended in Hawes.
Association secretary, Avril Douglas said: "We had a very successful ride, although it was a bit windy at times."
Main sponsor, the Black Sheep Brewery, was represented on the ride last week by managing director Paul Theakston, his wife and a number of staff.
Organisers hope to outdo last year's ride, which raised £13,250.
