CYCLISTS are being invited to take part in a sponsored ride in aid of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Trust.
The event, on Sunday, has been planned as part of National Cycle Week to raise awareness of healthy living and healthy travelling options.
Money raised from sponsorship will be used to help to improve patient environments at the university hospitals of Hartlepool and North Tees, in Stockton.
Participants from the Hartlepool area will do a round trip along the Hart to Haswell cycle route and participants from Stockton will travel along the Castle Eden Walkway.
The rides are between ten and 12 miles, all routes are off-road and suitable for all fitness levels.
