THE sun shone on youngsters who took part in a fancy dress parade at the weekend.
The children from St Bede's School, in Redcar Road, Marske, walked from Marske Town Square to the school to mark their annual fete.
Passers-by stopped at the roadside to watch the colourful procession go by.
Irish dancers helped to entertain visitors, who were also invited to "Soak the Bloke", which involved wet sponges being thrown at governor and parent John Larvin.Other activities included a miniature railway, bouncy castle and a puppet show.
