AN evening of music has been organised by a Roman Catholic charity.
Proms in the Park will be held in the grounds of Ushaw College, five miles west of Durham on Saturday.
Music will be provided by Bede Wind Philharmonic, Gateshead soprano Ruth Lackenby and Heaton Voices.
Concert-goers are invited to take picnic, wine and candles. Gazebos can be booked.
The evening has been organised by Cafod, the catholic church's overseas aid charity.
It starts at 7.30pm and tickets bought in advance are £12 for adults and £6 for children.
They are also available on the night, priced £15 for adults. Group bookings, for a party of ten, cost £108.
Free car and coach parking is available. Doors open at 6.30pm.
