THREE nurseries in Darlington are among fundraisers joining a nationwide tea party to help support hospices across the country.
The Kids & Co Nursery staff and parents will be hosting tea parties and other events at the three Darlington branches tomorrow for the Help the Hospices' Tea at 3 campaign.
There are also events planned at the Asda store in Darlington, at Tesco in Northallerton, and St Augustine's RC Primary School, Darlington.
Help the Hospices is encouraging more groups to join the campaign.
The money raised from Darlington events will go to St Teresa's Hospice in the town and will be used to purchase equipment, improve the range of alternative therapies for patients and aid counselling services.
Rosie Bailey, nursery manager of the town hall branch of Kids & Co, said she felt it was important for them to raise money for the cause.
