A DRAMA group is taking advantage of the warm June evenings with a lively production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Members of Stars - St Augustine's Repertory Society - say the story of young lovers, teenage defiance and magic is as fascinating as it was when first performed almost 400 years ago.
The play within a play sees a group of workmen planning their own drama. When one, Nick Bottom, is turned into a donkey by mischievous sprite Robin Goodfellow, also known as Puck, confusion reigns.
The play is being performed at St Augustine's Parish Centre, Larchfield Street, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday next week at 7.30pm. Tickets are available by calling (01325) 255601 or (01325) 483277.
