Under-15s: Dawdon had 18 runs in hand of Peterlee after realising 106 for six from their 20 overs. Anthony Watson top scored with 40 and Michael Appleby again showed potential contributing 36 before Peterlee were restricted to 88 for six.
Bill Quay made the formidable total of 166 for four in 20 overs at Easington who responded with 105 for six. Drewry top scored with 58, Farrell added 32 and Gilmour 29 for Bill Quay while for Easington Thomas Maitland captured two of the four wickets to follow for 33 runs.
When they went into bat Easington had Chris Edwards (35) and Mark Robinson (28) in form but they never threatened the Bill Quay total.
Neither did Castle Eden in their home game with Houghton. The visitors raised 124 for nine which included 43 by Shaun Hauxwell and 28 by Ross Bainbridge. Ross Kirtley was in good form with the ball for Castle Eden making three for 22 in four overs and Jonathan Malkin also delivered four overs returning two for 16.
Mark Grufferty also took two wickets at a cost of eight runs from the one over he bowled.
Replying, Castle Eden made only 87 for four of which Kirtley top scored with 29 and Malkin scored 23 while for Houghton, Luke O'Neill had two for eight in three overs.
Boldon CA overtook the Seaham Park total of 67 for six losing just three wickets as Steve Wraith ended unbeaten on 36.
Matthew Riches (29) top performed with the bat for Seaham Park who totalled just 67 for six as Coates claimed two for three in two overs.
