Current champions and two former title holders are involved in a three-way battle for supremacy at the top of Division One.

Currently heading the table on 12 points are 2002 champions Harlow who romped home 9-0 against The Academy second team.

Second are Thirsk, winners in 1998, whose latest win was a smart 8-1 success against Harrogate Racquets, leaving them just two points behind Harlow.

Third, and with a match in hand on their two rivals, are current champions Boroughbridge. But they were held 4.5-4.5 in their latest clash against The Academy first team.

Boroughbridge, who won the title for the first time in the club's history last season, have nine points.
