PUPILS from St Peter's Primary School, Brotton, hope to retain their crown in an annual junior road safety quiz final at the James Finegan Hall, Eston, today.
Their challengers will be Beech Grove Primary, of South Bank, and Riverdale Primary, of Redcar, after all three schools scored a maximum 72 points in the qualifying competition, which attracted 36 schools from Redcar and Cleveland.
Borough council road safety manager Mike Hall said: "I'm overwhelmed by the response from the schools and hugely impressed at the 100 per cent success by all three finalists. It promises to be a great afternoon."
