A SPECIAL presentation is to be made at an annual vintage vehicle rally.
Bob Longstaff, who lost his wife to cancer earlier this year, will present an award at the vintage and classic vehicle fete, held in Sedgefield on Tuesday.
Mr Longstaff, from Crook, has inaugurated the trophy as a tribute to his wife, Florence, who had a keen interest in classic and historic vehicles.
On the evening of the event he will award the trophy to one outstanding vehicle. All classes will be taken into consideration.
The event is being staged by the Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland around Sedgefield village green.
Last year saw a record entry with exhibits including a Model T Ford, a Rolls-Royce, tractors, a penny farthing bicycle, army vehicles, bubble cars, trucks and motorbikes.
There will also be plant and craft stalls, a tombola, face painters, and fairground rides.
Vehicles can be exhibited from 5.30pm, but all must be parked no later than 7pm.
All exhibitors are awarded a hospice commemorative pin and exhibition certificate.
To register call Butterwick Hospice on (01388) 603003 to request an entry form.
