Under-15s: Sacriston had 45 runs to spare defeating Greenside who were dismissed for 55 as Hall claimed five for eight runs in three overs, writes Malcolm Pratt.
Glen Scott top scored with 29 including two fours for Greenside.
Batting first, Sacriston reached 100 for five which included 26 by Robin Hockaday and for Greenside,
Scott took two wickets for 17 runs in five overs.
Lanchester won by seven wickets at Shotley Bridge after the home side totalled 93 for five of which Andrew Stokoe scored 33. Ben Cleary was the match winner for the bat for Lanchester contributing 46 to a total of 94 for three.
Blaydon went down by eight wickets to Swalwell. Batting first, Blaydon totalled 95 for five which included 24 by Stewart and 23 from Reynolds. Christopher Todd had a good night with the ball for Swalwell capturing three wickets for just 11 runs in five overs while Simon Watson and Will Casey took one wicket each. Todd Harrison then finished undefeated on 40, with two boundaries leading Swalwell to a match winning 99 for two.
A high scoring game at Burnopfield ended with Lintz the winners. Marcus Peart hit one six and 12 fours in an undefeated 86 as Burnopfield posted 133 for one. Responding, Lintz lost just one wicket as Andrew Smith ended unbeaten on 73 with two sixes and six fours and Michael Barrett finished 33 not out with five boundaries.
Under-18s
Martin Hubber and Craig Burke were both in outstanding form leading Sacriston to a nine wickets victory over Swalwell.
Faced with a target of 105, Sacriston lost one wicket and needed just 11.2 overs as Hubber hit three sixes and seven boundaries in an unbeaten 64 and Burke contributed 33 with one six and fix fours.
Batting first Swalwell did not concede a wicket as they posted 104 for none in 20 overs. Neaven hit a six and nine boundaries out of 67 not out and Rob Grand had three fours in an undefeated 33.
Shotley Bridge defeated Crookhall by nine wickets. Charlton contributed 55 not out and Mark Grinter 30 to the Shotley Bridge total of 112 for one after Stewart (55) and Thompson (33no) had enabled Crookhall to make 111 for three.
Under-18 Cup
Sacriston romped to the next stage with an emphatic ten wicket victory over Annfield Plain despite their opponents making a useful total of 116 for two.
Naveed Ahmed top-scored with 52 and Scott Harrison contributed 33 for the Plain while Craig Burke claimed both the Annfield Plain wickets to fall for just 12 runs in an economical four over spell.
There was no stopping Martin Hubber and Burke when Sacriston replied and reached 118 without losing a wicket. Hubber with 63 not out and man of the match Burke finished with an undefeated 57.
Greenside also went through with a nine wickets success over Burnopfield. Daniel Lintern was in outstanding form with the ball for Greenside claiming six wickets for just 22 runs in five overs and Rob Bell had figures of two for right from the three overs he delivered.
Burnopfield were all out for 50 and Greenside conceded just one wicket as man of the match Lintern ended with 20 not out including one six and three boundaries while Anthony Scott was undefeated with 18.
