Burnmoor reached the semi-final of the competition which is run by the Federation Special Durham Senior League, writes Malcolm Pratt.
They defeated South Shields by eight wickets when Ben Embleton finished unbeaten on 60 in a total of 114 for two after South Shields had made 113 for six.
South Hetton also went through into the last four defeating Philadelphia by 22 runs at Bunker Hill. Batting first, South Hetton realised 112 before restricting Phili to 90 for five.
Semi-final draw: Sunderland v South Hetton; Whitburn v Burnmore.
