Earlier this month Casey Shogren was named as the summer's first monthly winner of this year's The Northern Echo Cricketer of the Year competition and we're now taking entries for the June accolade.
Casey took the April/May honour after recording figures of eight wickets for nine runs against South Hetton while playing for Durham City's Under-13s and now we're looking for someone to at least match that achievement.
The 12-year-old, from Esh Winning, is now short-listed for the overall award and will be hoping to emulate last year's April/May winner, Anthony McMahon.
Anthony also took the first monthly award of the summer and his feat of six sixes in an over - which earned him a place in the Guiness Book of Records, as the youngest ever to manage it, and a meeting with Sir Garfield Sobers two weeks ago - and went on to be receive the 2003 award.
Whoever wins this year's competition will win a trophy supplied by Mike Gough Sports of Hartlepool as well as a bat signed by the Durham CC team.
