MEMBERS of Sedgefield Lyric Singers are on the look out for men who have good voices and a love of singing.
Like many music groups, The Lyric Singers have been experiencing a shortage of male singers for some time.
But men are in particular demand this year, for the group's 30th anniversary, which will be marked by a celebration concert on two evenings next month.
The group meets for practice on Fridays, at 7.30pm, in Ceddesfeld Hall.
The String of Pearls concert will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 2 and 3, in the parish hall, at 7.30pm. It will feature songs old and new and will be supported by the Lyrics Youth Choir.
Tickets can be obtained at Selections in Front Street, on (01740) 620625, or from choir members.
