MILTON Bradley, who reached the pinnacle of his training career when successful with The Tatling at Royal Ascot last week, can be on the mark in more mundane surroundings today.

Bradley's Roxanne Mill has been knocking on the door of late and should give a good account in the Racing UK On Channel 425 Fillies Handicap over five furlongs at Musselburgh.

Although she hasn't won for some time she ran a solid race over this course and distance on her penultimate start when third to Catch The Cat in a competitive handicap on fast ground.

She ran at least as well when just touched off at Salisbury last time and, in a race that doesn't look as strong in the competition department, she is entitled to go very close from her low draw and from the same mark.

At Chepstow, Bradley's Currency looks poised to score on the evidence of his recent starts and makes plenty of appeal in the Betfred Sprint Series Handicap over six furlongs.

The seven-year-old shaped as though coming to hand behind Malahide Express over five furlongs at Hamilton last time and the return to this longer trip should be in his favour.

Back at Musselburgh, Tim Easterby, also fresh from Royal Ascot success, can be on the mark with Minivet in the Ormiston Handicap over a mile and a half.

He's not won on the Flat since 1999 but he's been a prolific winner over hurdles since then and his latest efforts over timber suggest he should give a good account in this modest company back in this sphere.

Hammond's Royal Windmill has claims in the Rectangle Group Handicap over seven furlongs but his low draw is a concern, as is the step up in grade and preference is for Luke After Me.

Although his style of racing means he needs things to fall just right, Musselburgh is just the sort of course that should suit him and he's shown enough of late to suggest he can win a race of this nature.

At Nottingham, Raysoot, from the back-to-form stable of Alec Stewart, takes the eye in the Van Gogh Handicap over a mile.

The three-year-old attracted plenty of support on his all-weather and handicap debut at Wolverhampton last time and, with further improvement on the cards, looks set to go close now returned to turf.

Penzance is a consistent sort who ran well at Chester last time but should appreciate the more galloping nature of this track and is the fancy in the Midsummers Day Handicap over a mile and a quarter.

On that occasion this half-brother to Soviet Song was lacking a turn of foot around the tight turns of the Roodeye but it should be a different story here and Johnny Murtagh can be relied on to make the most of his proven stamina.

At Windsor, Sir Michael Stoute's Blaze Of Colour is an interesting runner with improvement likely on his handicap debut in the Sharp Minds Betfair Handicap over the extended mile and three furlongs.

* George Margarson is to raise his sights with Polar Jem after she extended her winning sequence to four at Newmarket on Saturday.

In what has been a glorious 26 days for the daughter of Polar Falcon, she landed the Bet Online At capitalsports.com Fillies' Handicap.

Adrian McCarthy repeated the forcing tactics which had served her well for her previous successes and had a length and a half and a short head to spare over Fling and Grey Clouds at the line.

Margarson is ready to step up his 4-1 winner, and said: ''She'll go for a Listed race at Newcastle on Saturday and if things go to plan I'd like to run her in the Magnet Cup (now the John Smith's Cup) at York.''
