CHILDREN will put their best foot forward for charity on Thursday when they take part in a Big Toddle to raise cash for Barnardo's.
About 20 children from Borrowby Playgroup, in Knayton, near Thirsk, will take part in the Foresters Big Toddle by walking half-a-mile from their base at Knayton School to a garden in the village.
Playgroup leader Linda Chapman said: "The toddle is about children helping other children. It is fantastic to know that our children can help Barnardo's just by taking part in the toddle. I would encourage everyone to get involved."
Last year, 2,020 toddler groups took part, raising £634,000 for the charity.
